Details
Grenland Art Hall is launching a new public art initiative, Kunstløypa (Art Loop), featuring six artists working with porcelain. RIVER, a new public artwork by Laurie “Sky” Smith Vestøl, will be launched on August 23 in Porsgrunn. Dancer Christine Caldino Vik Bratvold will perform a contemporary piece on a large white porcelain moon floating in the middle of the river. On the city beach, Sky will install 500 porcelain talismans—jewel-like sculptures—for the audience to explore and collect.
